Hong Kong requires all cats to be microchipped prior to import. This can be an AVID 9-digit microchip or an ISO-compatible microchip (Home Again, ResQ, etc.).

All cats must have an original Rabies Certificate and this certificate must state the microchip number, the date of inoculation and the validity of the particular vaccination you obtain – this can be a one or three year vaccine and must be administered at least 30 days and less than a year before departure.
Records must be at least 14 days old and less than a year old before departure.

An import permit is required to enter the country. Please contact your China Pet Transport Specialist to learn about the best way to manage this.
This is the standard Health Certificate to be filled out by your accredited Veterinarian. It must be issued within seven days of the flight.
This is the AFCD health certificate to be filled out by your accredited veterinarian along with the Form 7001. It must be issued within seven days of the flight.

Bengal cats may not be imported unless the pet owner has documentation certifying that the cat is fifth generation or above.
There is no quarantine when entering Hong Kong from the United States if the above requirements have been met.
Note that cats must be at least five months old to enter Hong Kong.
